Let's Get Physical
Sweet Summer time is upon us now! FINALLY! But let's get real, time gets a bit more limited from all the fun you're having and who wants to spend their sunny day in a stuffy gym?
Here's a few ways to change it up, get outside and get active!
- Aim for 10,000 steps per day
- Do a sunrise yoga class
- Take a daytrip and head out for a hike
- Alternate your light walk with bodyweight squats, lunges, or push-ups
- Move more, period!
- HIIT training for those days when you just need to squeeze it in quickly
Some quick things to remember, it's hot out in that summer sun, stay hydrated, use sunscreen and listen to your body. If you're feeling crampy, sluggish or overly fatigued, remember to replace your electrolytes!
